Problem

The following error appears when launching worldserver.exe, authserver.exe or bnetserver.exe:

  1. This error always occurs when you run 32bit applications on a 64bit operating system, never on 32bit operating systems.
  2. Install the corresponding / matching 32bit (x86) Visual C++ Runtime distributable, vcredist_x86.exe to solve the issue,
