Problem

When starting worldserver the following error is shown:

Some required *.dbc files (6 from 145) not found or not compatible:
../data/dbc/gtNpcTotalHp.dbc
../data/dbc/gtNpcTotalHpExp1.dbc
../data/dbc/gtNpcTotalHpExp2.dbc
../data/dbc/gtNpcTotalHpExp3.dbc
../data/dbc/gtNpcTotalHpExp4.dbc
../data/dbc/gtNpcTotalHpExp5.dbc

Solution

These files were gathered from a client version that we do not yet support therefore they have to be downloaded separately.

  1. Download the required files at http://filebeam.com/dae189818855751896077734c90a18a0.
  2. Place them in the /dbc directory.

This will not be required once TrinityCore is updated to support version 6.1.

No longer required as of 369b08b68d43f76bae8bf206a69553e22fab54ba.
